Sourav Yadav

Sourav Yadav is a PhD researcher in Computer Science at the University of Calgary and a member of TCDT Laboratory. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, Kolkata. His research interests include trustworthy computing, decentralized systems, blockchain, digital identity, and distributed machine learning, with applications in areas such as healthcare, smart grids, agriculture, and supply chains. Before beginning his PhD, he worked for over eight years in industry as a data scientist and machine learning engineer, where he developed and deployed machine learning and federated learning systems, particularly for healthcare applications. His research lies at the intersection of machine learning, distributed systems, privacy, and trustworthy technologies.
