I am Koosha,
I feel incredibly honoured to be the first grad student of the TCDT lab. I joined the lab in its early days, starting in January 2023. My main area of research revolves around distributed systems and blockchains. Currently, I'm working on blockchain interoperability.

The objective of this project is to improve the interoperability of different blockchain networks by developing smart contract gateways that can interact with multiple networks. These gateways will automate, trace, and secure the process of submitting transactions to other blockchain networks.

After presenting our initial concept as a demo paper at ICBC 2023, we have been actively working since May 2023 to develop further and expand our blockchain-based loaning system idea. This involves building the necessary infrastructure and creating smart contracts to enhance and extend the scope of the original demo paper.
